Welcome to the blog posts of Project: EnAble. Here you will find many of the posts that are also contained in our discussions tab on the official Project: EnAble GitHub Organization page. The purpose of this blog is to help convey official Project: EnAble information in a more broad area. This means that for those who don’t use or don’t know how to use GitHub, the information can be more readably available.
The Future
Hello everyone! I wanted to give some updates on what is happening with Project: EnAble and what you can expect from us for the next while. If you don’t already know, Project: EnAble is an open source prosthetic system and design focused on making the world a more accessible place. Over the last few years Project: EnAble has been focusing on creating prosthetic systems for people all around the world, as well as competing at competitions and presenting at conferences such as the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS), Southern Utah Science and Engineering Fair (SUSEF), and more.
To give an update on what is going to be happening over the next while; Project: EnAble will be slowing down development as well as updates. With everything that I have going on, as well as other risks, I will be providing updates on what I have been improving with the project every 6-8 months. However, this does not mean that I will be releasing actual project updates. These updates will just be simple explanations posted here on GitHub discussions or through X (Twitter). **Note: This now also includes the Project: EnAble blog**
Help During This Time
If you do need assistance or a bug fix during this time, I am happy to assist you. I can help by releasing a very quick bug fix or assisting you as you are troubleshooting. You can contact me either through X (Twitter), GitHub, or through my channel on YouTube (Coding Tricks).
Thanks
Development is going to be increasingly difficult during this time and it is very difficult for me to be able to balance school, work and the project all at once. I am looking forward to providing some AMAZING updates to Project: EnAble in the next while, however, it will take more time than it has in the past. If you would like to help support Project: EnAble, you can do so in many ways including (but not limited to), sharing Project: EnAble to those around you, donating to Project: EnAble to help fund making the world a more accessible place, following the Official GitHub Organization Page, and many more.
